Club helps English students with job search

This article describes what college students should be doing when searching for a job after graduating from college. English majors have developed a new job club at their university. This club was organized because English majors have been having a hard time finding jobs in this current job market. Having an English major is stated as, "a broad enough major that you can do a lot of things with." Students have been meeting in this club to direct them down a career path. Students in this club get together to network, "review internships, salary statistics from payscale.com, and career books." Current students that are involved with this job club have been describing it as a huge help when searching for careers. Another helpful way of searching for careers have been meeting with career counselor's or "consultants." Meeting in career clubs and with career consultants is a great step toward landing a career. These clubs should be at everywhere university and college.

Rapid City woman to fill seat vacated by Rep. Brian Dreyer

It is great to see more woman becoming involved in congress. Has of now there are only 74 women in the House of Representatives and 17 women in the senate. Kristin Conzet is a moderate republican and runs her own business. Based on her credentials from the article she is qualified for a position in the House of Reps. I wish more women would follow her lead and run for office.

Time-Traveling Bird Shuts Europe’s Super Collider, Saves Universe

http://thefastertimes.com/timetravel/2009/12/01/time-traveling-bird-shuts-europe%E2%80%99s-super-collider-saves-universe/

Wow! What an interesting article. A multi billion dollar machine called the Large Hardon Collidor is designed to recreate what existed a "trillionth" of a second after the big bang theory. As a result, the Large Hardon Collidor is said to recreate the subatomic particles that is thought to have created mass. The Large Hardon Collidor is fascinating. Recreating the big bang could lead to a vast amount of new information regarding sciences. Unfortunately, the recreation of the big bang may wipe out all types of life on earth. Such disasters that could arise are mini black holes and explosions that will have a greater magnitude than any previous explosions earth has experience. I am not sure if the benefits will outweigh the costs on this one. Perhaps it is divine intervention that a bird dropped a piece of bread. Prolonging the LHC to recreate the Big Bang. Who knows what lies a head.
PS. I had no idea the lead guitarist from queen is a doctor in astrophysist.
